I had literally none with my 1st and then the same with my 2nd up until the day I was in labour my upper bum was covered?! My Husband thought they were scratches😅 I was gutted, but honestly after 3/4 months they were white and hardly noticeable. I’m pregnant with baby #3 and not anxious about finding them now cos I know they’ll be basically invisible one day🥰

As a girl that didn’t get stretch marks don’t worry yourself it’s down to genetics. Usually you can tell dependent if your mum has them

They fade so much I had mild ones but loads on my tummy, legs even my boobs, you can’t even see them three years on

Whatever you do, DONT STOP OILING ONCE YOU GIVE BIRTH. Mine went CRAZY after I gave birth. I’m 5 months pp and I got stretch marks around the 33 week mark. They didn’t grow that fast but they grew QUICK after I gave birth (I stopped oiling). I oil my belly everyday (started again 6 weeks pp) and my stretch marks have faded SO much. Mine ended up coming up to my belly button and completely wrapped around my hips.

The first time I noticed my stretch marks I started sobbing.. it’s a normal feeling to be a little sad about it. But stretch marks are so beautiful and I cherish them so much now.

That's roughly when mine started, the midwives were delightful with commenting "ooohhh they look sore" at every appointment. I also used tummy butter etc, it did not stop them, you are correct that it is generic. I now joke about them with my now 11 year old son. It is what it is. 🫠

Hang in there! I didn’t get stretch marks until my third trimester and I took it so hard at first. After I gave birth I fixated on them but then they dulled down as time went on and I hardly notice them anymore. When I had my second, they didn’t look even close to how they did when I had my first. But now I see them and just think of growing my babies. It took time to accept them for sure.

I’m on my 3rd pregnancy and the stretch marks always hit harder than weight gain etc for me! I get new ones with each baby…they will fade and they’re our stripes of bravery! Also, you might find they start itching/rashy as you get further along - sudocrem is a great reliever! Good luck🤍

I have lots of stretch marks due to my Crohn’s disease and huge weight fluctuations, I hated them to start with but now they have faded and I can barely see them at all! I know it’s not pregnancy related, but I promise you no one will notice at all x

On my first I had stretch marks all under my belly and all down my legs they have faded and you can’t see them at all on my second I’ve got none at all x

I loooved the midwife expert stretch mark serum. Don’t get me wrong I’m covered in them after my belly has gone down but it was so hydrating and the skin tightness that I got from baby was immediately relieved

You learn to love them honestly!!! Mine faded so much about 2 years later could barely notice them. Now pregnant with my third and have sooo many more but I’m not too worried 🥰

I have stretch marks from previous pregnancy and still cried when I found new ones 🤦🏼♀️it’s hard we go through so much in pregnancy and stretch marks are so permanent!! You got this 🤰🏼🖤
