More Info ⬇️ The Orionids Meteor Shower is one of the most spectacular celestial events of the year, taking place every October when Earth passes through a stream of debris left behind by the famous Halley’s Comet. These tiny fragments, often no larger than grains of sand, enter our atmosphere at speeds of around 66 kilometers per second, burning up in brilliant flashes of light that streak across the night sky. The shower typically peaks around October 21st and 22nd, though activity can be seen from early October through early November. Under dark, clear skies, viewers can expect to see up to 20 meteors per hour, sometimes more in exceptional years. The meteors appear to radiate from the constellation Orion, specifically near the bright orange star Betelgeuse, but they can flash anywhere across the sky. For the best experience, it’s recommended to watch after midnight, when Orion rises higher in the southeast and the sky is darkest. You don’t need any special equipment like telescopes or binoculars — the Orionids are best enjoyed with the naked eye. Just find a dark spot away from city lights, let your eyes adjust for 20 minutes, and lie back to take in the show. Many Orionids are fast and bright, sometimes leaving glowing trails that linger for several seconds — a result of ionized gas in the upper atmosphere. What makes the Orionids truly special is their origin: every meteor you see is a small fragment of Halley’s Comet, a visitor that only returns to our skies once every 76 years. So even though Halley’s Comet won’t be back until 2061, its legacy lives on each October, lighting up the sky with ancient cosmic dust that has traveled billions of miles through space before meeting its fiery end in Earth’s atmosphere. #astrophotography #fyp #orionids #orionidsmeteorshower #meteorshower

Công trình do KTS Ngô Viết Nam Sơn thiết kế.
