Still takes forever to charge and costs double what a Prius does

You’re comparing a $30k vehicle to a $130k vehicle.

I’d still rather have the Prius (a Toyota) vs a GM product.

so 740km on 205 kw dyum that is ineffective, VW get 600 on 88 kw in a id7 Tour pro

It doesn’t matter how efficient it is if it cost more to drive the same miles for an electric car than a gas car. I have an electric

this is a lie. you have to look at the WHOLE life cycle. it takes a LOT of energy to make a fully electric vehicle

hmmm. I m a Tesla owner and my model 3 has 60kwH batteries and at home takes exactly $10 to be 100% with 15 cent per Kw. it takes $21 if I change in station with 35 cent/kw.
now Escalade has 3.41 times bigger battery and with same 15 cent par kw, it cost $35 to full charge and it cost $71 to charge at station. if I put $35 gas in Prius in my area, it will be 9 gallons and it goes 525 miles base on 57/gallon. and for $71 you put 18 gallons and take you 1050 miles. so is your calculate right?

itz_aryanz1 :
what about a full tank on a Prius? a full tank on a Prius is about 530+ miles, you compared the Escalade by using 2/3 of the Prius gas tank and than comparing it with a full charge. Since a full charge on the Escalade is 465 miles, the Prius wins in efficiency

Yes but forgot to mention it isn’t since the Prius will outlast it by about 40 years and I am not mentioning the emissions that were produced at the production of the vehicle

1. An EV battery capacity has a raw & real battery capacity. What you gave us is the raw battery capacity. The real one is more like 200-195 kWh. 2. The claimed range is always overestimated and tested with ideal conditions, meaning that doing the claimed 465mi is nearly impossible, especially in the US. You would be closer to 375-400mi (and I think I’m still overestimating that range)

The math is misleading since the combined figure is not a Prius's best mpg.

465 claimed, realistically it would be 350-380 miles
