@pelvicfloorliz: If you have any sort of pelvic floor dysfunction, doing a warmup of your core and pelvic floor muscles before exercising can be game changing 🙌 45 seconds each: Step 1: Belly breathing or diaphragmatic breathing - making your belly big on inhaling, then deflating on exhaling Step 2: Add in your pelvic floor. Inhale, relax and lengthen pelvic floor // exhale, contract pelvic floor Step 3: Add on a knee squeeze. So inhale, relax pelvic floor and legs // exhale, contract pelvic floor and squeeze knees. Step 4: Add on a bridge. Inhale, relax pelvic floor and legs // exhale, contract pelvic floor and bridge up. This is a warmup I do before all runs, walks, exercise classes or other workouts. It helps prep your core and pelvic floor to support you the whole way through your workout 💪 Join my free pelvic floor newsletter for more pelvic floor tips 🩷🌸 Link in bio! #pelvicfloorexercises #pelvichealth #pelvicpt #pelvicfloorphysicaltherapy #pelvicfloorhealth
