@dailyscooptv24: The Naqeebullah Mehsud murder case has once again raised major questions after an Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi acquitted seven more accused due to lack of evidence. Naqeebullah Mehsud was killed in a police encounter in Karachi in January 2018. Police, under then SSP Malir Rao Anwar, claimed that Naqeebullah and three others were terrorists killed in an encounter. His family rejected the claim and maintained that Naqeebullah was innocent. A Sindh Police investigation later described the encounter as fake and declared Naqeebullah innocent. The case continued in court, where several police officers and personnel were nominated as accused. With the latest decision, all 25 accused in the Naqeebullah murder case have now been acquitted.
