also (correct me if i’m wrong) kishimoto himself made sakura to be a realistic girl as well with her feelings. he said he didn’t really give a reason for her feelings because not all feelings have reasons, they just are. which is true, not all feelings can be explained and not a lot of people can explain why they love someone, plus usually the reasons are all the same which to me is bland. this makes sasusaku also feel more like soulmates in MY opinion

She loved him for his looks then got to understand the REAL sasuke including all his flaws and deepest insecurities and continued to love him. Literally, and I hate how they compare her to Hinata because of this. Like, okay, Hinata had a reason for liking Naruto, but that doesn’t mean Sakura needs some specific reason for loving Sasuke. Love can just happen out of nowhere. That’s realistic, just like in real life. There doesn’t always need to be a reason for someone’s feelings to be justified.
