not a warning sign for bramalea mall tbh. there's a Walmart that will be opening in that mall next year. so there will be steady amount of customers

I go there somewhat regularly for myself kids, gifts. It’s the only store around if you are a reader. They also have very good customer service.

No one reads traditional books and they read e-books instead. A lot of malls are losing big department stores like the Bay which has gone belly up so has Sears, Simpsons etc. Morguard Corporation, which owns Bramalea City Centre doesn’t have to worry if the mall goes belly up because they can convert the land into more condos and supermarkets so they can get money for the land use elsewhere.

I remember when there was Coles AND smithbooks. Coles used to be the lesser of the two, then it was the only one left. The fact that there’s no book store at all now is sad.
