That’s so WILD!! You need to follow Dr. Mary Claire Haver she always talks about mental health & perimenopause! As an RN of 30 years myself I definitely trust her and listen to her podcast at 49 now in full menopause the last year!

I'm 12 years plus in and it turned me inside out and everything in between. it jacks you up and at the time my gynocologist wanted to put me on mental health meds. didn't want to see any levels of anything on blood work. I got scared and suffered and didn't trust nobody.

Smh…this is why I do my own research and question everything. That’s some bullshit. As a clinician you can’t know everything but have sense to say that’s not your area of expertise and to seek assistance or take time to educate themselves to help patients navigate their health.
