@misskhrissy1: Sometimes the people who love you will check you when you need it. 😂 I realized I’ve been so self-conscious about my disability that I sometimes feel like I need to give people a disclaimer before they even get to know me. And that doesn’t just apply to new friendships. Even the people who have known me for years are getting to know a different version of me now that I’m living with MS. But the people who truly care about you will learn you where you are. They’ll adjust, work with you, make space for you, and remind you that you’re still YOU. So yeah… my friend was right. I needed that reminder. And I’m grateful for the people who continue to get to know me through this new chapter. 🧡 Has MS or a disability ever changed the way you approach friendships?
