if it is that bad for you why are doctors still subscribing it. I've been on it since my mid 20s and I'm now 65 with no problem. I still take 1 in the morning

Such a dangerous post, telling people not to take them when they don't know their personal circumstances, many people take them because other medication they take can damage stomach lining, cause ulcers or bleeding, please don't just stop taking them folks, talk to a Dr or pharmacist first.

I’ve been on this for over 13 years daily. I’ve spoken to my GP regarding the long term use and was told it’s totally safe to do so 🤷🏻♂️

What about people with hiatus hernias in their stomach causing the acid to go into their throat and burn it. We have no choice but to take them because the hernia will always cause the acid to burn us so bad it will eventually cause cancer in the throat. If I miss a day of mine il choke on acid and have bad stomach pain [Teary eyed]

I take one of a morning & if I don’t take it i get about 24 hours then start spuing acid out my mouth when i’m asleep & get the most insane heart burn.
