Your AI reads it the moment it connects. A speaker: it takes every order the same way. Behind the window, the MCP server takes the order and still goes through the API. The API never went away. MCP sits in front of it. Three things builders learn the hard way: Your AI only knows what's written on the menu. Vague descriptions get you wrong tool calls. Every tool menu takes up room in the AI's context. Connect what the job needs. If a job never changes, skip MCP and call the API directly.
