Best of luck!! What tendon are they using and are they operating on the meniscus too? Main aims: reduce swelling, returning to full knee straightening/bending, quad activation. Your physio will go through everything protocol/movement side though:)) take care of yourself as it’s very easy to get in a rut, you’ll smash it!!

You’ll be absolutely fine girlie! You’re finally going to be on the road to recovery. It will be tough for the next 6 months but soon it will all just be a memory! I’m 6 days post op and am actually doing much better than I thought. Ice is my new best friend❤️

Had exactly the same as you! Get a few big ice packs and ice ice ice. Alternate them so you don’t have to wait till it freezes again. Move as much as you possibly can, don’t let it go to stiff, work on getting it straight first before bending. Buy one of the leg sleeves from Amazon so you can shower properly without getting it wet in first week! Don’t neglect your quads either, so every morning I’d work on waking up my quad muscle and throughout the day, as it can get so weak! Get a dog so you can have lots of cuddles too 😂 any questions just give me a shout! Good luck ❤️❤️

I’ve had both knees done 2 years apart and it will be okay!!! Let yourself rest and your body knows how to heal and recover. I pushed the rehab too soon on the first and it prolonged the recovery. If the pain meds make you feel icky, ask for prescription strength acetaminophen - that was so much better for me than the others 🤍 Find a show you’re excited to watch and accept it’s not ideal but gets so much better!!!!
