It’s probably better to say tri-state. Because just because you’re in New York all the time doesn’t make you a. Some people working in Connecticut and that doesn’t make them from Connecticut.

also from nj, don’t call myself a new yorker or have nyc in bio…but i do consider myself local to the region bc i grew up going to the city often and its literally an hour away…thats local to me! definitely don’t think we should be considered transplants at all we’re literally right across the water
