I’ve been very unimpressed with Cregger his last few projects. Weapons was cool and entertaining but it just didn’t land with me as hard as it did with everyone else. But let me say.. Resident Evil was a master class in video game filmmaking. The dude KNEW the subject, he KNEW the idea and he absolutely fucking nailed the execution. I love that you can see his progress as a film maker and I’m very very excited for what he’s going to do in the future the guys upwards trajectory is unlike anything weve seen recently.
