@offenceregister: Daniel Willacy Jailed Over Grooming Nine-Year-Old Child 👇 FULL CASE DETAILS BELOW 👇 Daniel Willacy, aged 29, of Woking, Surrey, has been jailed for four and a half years after grooming a nine-year-old child online and coercing her into creating explicit sexual material. Operating behind an online alias across Snapchat and Instagram, Willacy targeted the vulnerable primary-school child before turning the conversations explicitly sexual. At one point, Willacy bombarded the nine-year-old with 36 messages in just 26 minutes, repeatedly pressuring her for indecent photographs and videos. The grooming was exposed in February 2024 when the victim's mother and sister checked her phone and discovered the disturbing messages. Digital forensics teams recovered the chat logs along with a video the young girl had been groomed into producing. Detectives traced the Instagram profile directly to Willacy's home address in Woking, leading to his arrest. Willacy admitted inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, sexual communication with a child, and attempting to meet a child following grooming.
