had a friend run Linux for like the last 6 or 7 months and it was terrible for literally the whole friend group. dude couldn't play certain games and we never really knew which and often switch games. so much wasted time trying to get things to run for him.

linux boys gotta stop acting like Linux is easy. the average PC user can't install windows. and for everyone prepared to say but it's so easy! YES I KNOW THATS MY POINT. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT IN A DISK, READ THE WORDS AND HIT INSTALL.

Distinguished Engineer and daily Linux desktop user since 1999. Linux has become way more user friendly throughout the years but still has a lot of sharp edges that can cut people who don't know what's going on under the hood.

Linux is way easier than before, but also, Windows is HARDER for noobs. Forced AI, Forced cloud integration, confusing update model, for a regular user, Windows is no longer the "easy" side.

I think a question that we should ask isn't Linux versus (whatever is). it's what each of our needs are while some people have apps that are windows specific some people have apps that are Apple ecosystem specific and some have things that are available on Linux. they all have unique needs and while nothing is one to one equal. my logic and keep in mind I've been building computers since 1992 but everyone has their own needs and wants

Man I don’t even know what your content is this is the first post I saw but as a member of a ton of Linux groups. Most of those guys have no clue about how enterprise works and where linux truly excels and where it doesn’t. You start talking about MDM management, enterprise application continuity, zero trust solutions etc and folks just have no clue
