@aapo.alpinism: Mont Blanc Summit (4,810m) unguided I caught a flu just before the trip which made acclimatizing pretty heavy. It made me question if I could even try summitting Mont Blanc. During our summit push the winds got quite strong. We sat in the Vallot refuge (4,362m) for an hour deciding if we should continue up or turn back as there were many people hiding from the wind. Pushing up was the right choice. Making the summit was really rewarding. My first year of mountaineering, climbing with friends and making our own decisions on the mountain.
