If your narrative includes the same details, it’s because He already gave the key to eating of the tree of discernment, Adam just had to follow instructions: Eat of the stuff I’m telling you to eat. Knowledge is supposed to serve life, not the other way around. That leads to death. Had he just trusted that, Adam would’ve eventually eaten of the tree of life first, and God knows what other wonders in that garden, no longer having to fear eating of the tree of discernment. Instead, Adam doesn’t ever so much as attempt to eat, until he’s given a helper. His helper ends up in a conversation with an animal he has dominion over, while he is with her. (Genesis 3:6) But this isn’t something you can casually throw out unless you also know the other narrative details that reveal why sin didn’t enter thru one demon, one woman, or even one serpent, but one man. Remember. Knowledge should serve life. Not the other way around.

Allah sets the rules, and He also gave everyone free will. What we humans do with that free will is up to us: either we follow the rules or we don't. It's not more complicated than that.

Adam was destined for Earth he just needed to utilize his free will and show repentance, they weren't punished, its like they were our first lesson in Allah's mercy and forgiveness

Actually the answer is simple, he allowed them to roam freely in “jennah” which means there was no punishment or the life after, because they are already there. He made it clear to them that not to touch the fruit or there will be consequences, but they were rebellious or curious and that’s why we are here on earth and why we are tested on a daily basis.

the explanation is simple, if Allah/God were to punish one right after creating one, we would find it unfair since we didnt do anything yet. Since we have the gift of free will he doesnt make us not do the sinn, even us being on earth is so we can see why we end up in hell or heaven

Because not everything that Allah knows is HIS WILL/DECREE, sometimes He just knows that we’re going to do it OUR OWN CHOICE/WILL. Think of it this way, a bus & a car are coming from 2 opposite directions & there’s a man who’s waiting on the sidewalk for the signal, & he happens to be a great mathematician. He calculates & according to that calculation, the bus & car will collide in 10 seconds, & they DO end up colliding in 10 seconds, now can the bus or car driver come up to that man & say “we collided because YOU WROTE that we would collide”, I mean does that make any sense?? So not everything that Allah writes happens because He decreed it, He writes it down because He already KNEW that it was about to happen, (& on a side note, He has 2 different names/qualites out of His 99 names, Al-Aleem & Al-Qadir. Al Aleem means He’s the all knowing, meaning He knows everything, & Al- Qadir means He has POWER over everything (which He does), but He doesn’t always intervene in Everything, not because He can’t or doesn’t know, but because He’d rather gives us the space/ FREEDOM OF CHOICE & let us do what we want to at times to TEST us, & see which 1 of us is the most sincere/dovout to Him. Hope this helps (ps, the example that I gave isn’t originally mine, but it’s always helped me to understand this concept, so hope it helps you & everyone else with the same thing on mind.)

REAL question is why God didnt want Adam and Eve eating from the tree of KNOWLEDGE? What was God hiding? Why did God feel so threatened by the fact that they now had the knowledge he was trying to hide? How come only the snake, aka devil or evil being, wanted them to know the truth and have the knowledge?
