Disagree, as a fellow MT07 owner it’s not a great all arounder. It’s a great city commuter but beyond that I’d want more.

agreed because you can still speed but to me if you can over 120ish your going at speeds that are going to be incredibly difficult to control unless your a MotoGP racer or have years and years of practice

so I had the prior gen mt07. it's fantastic. if it were a tad bit larger (I felt cramped) and a tad bit more refined I would've kept it. I traded it in for an xsr900 and I *love* this bike. all the bells and whistles, the fantastic cp3 motor, the look I wanted, and the suspension and refinement I craved. if I could have afforded both I would've kept both as the cp2 with the Akra sounded 🤌🤌.

I’d say the 900 class is perfect.. still have 600cc top speed with more torque and faster acceleration.

you of course are correct, but I can't get down with a parallel twin. I've ridden a ton of them with different crank degrees. give me any other engine configuration. thumper, v-twin, triple, boxer.. anything else than a soulless P-twin.

With 185,000 miles on my cb500... I agree and think you don't even need more than 50hp in a bike. Less is more! I just did the tail of the dragon on my 83 passport too, if 70ccs can handle that road then the rest is ego
