@thesunnahguy: One of the biggest misconceptions people have about Muslims is that somehow believing in Islam means rejecting Jesus Christ. Nothing could be further from the truth. As Muslims, we love Jesus Christ. We believe in him. We believe he was the Messiah. We believe in his miraculous birth to Mary without a father. We believe he performed miracles by the permission of God. And we believe he was one of the greatest messengers God ever sent to mankind. You cannot claim to believe in Islam whilst rejecting Jesus. He is part of our faith. And Mary holds such an honoured position in Islam that an entire chapter of the Qur’an carries her name. Where Muslims and Christians differ is not whether Jesus should be loved and honoured. It’s who should be worshipped. As Muslims, our worship belongs entirely to God. The Creator of Jesus Christ. The Creator of Muhammad ﷺ. The Creator of me and you. We believe Jesus called people towards the worship of the One God, just as the prophets before him did and just as Muhammad ﷺ did after him. And I think sometimes Christians are genuinely surprised when they discover how much love Muslims actually have for Jesus. He isn’t a stranger to us. He isn’t somebody we dismiss. He is Jesus the son of Mary. A prophet. A messenger. The Messiah. And one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth. So yes, I love Jesus Christ. I honour Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus Christ. And I try to follow the message all of the prophets brought. Worship the One who created us all.

1. Nuns dress like Jesus mother and so do women in the traditional churches of Christianity in Catholicism and Orthodxy when they veil. 2. There are many Priests and Bishops who keep their beards long like Jesus. 3. Many Christians abstain from all meats and also wine on Wednesdays and Fridays every week, not just pork. We can eat pork at other time as that law of the Old Testament has been fulfilled. 4. Jesus was middle eastern and so was the region for 600 years until another religion came and took over. 5. Christ was not created. He claimed to be and is God. You cannot love someone and deny the biggest part of their identity.
