@streetvoices11: Creating Jobs Takes Risk. That’s The Whole Point. 💰 In this debate on capitalism, Patrick Bet-David argues that entrepreneurs take the financial risk, build the business, and create jobs, so the possibility of a larger reward is part of the incentive to do it in the first place. The other participant agrees that creating jobs is difficult, but argues that this still doesn’t automatically justify extremely large executive payouts. The broader episode centered heavily on whether incentives are necessary for capitalism to function. That’s the real disagreement here: how much should risk, ownership, and job creation determine the reward? Business owners in the U.S. — does this match what taking the risk actually feels like? 👇 #politics #economy #capitalism #entrepreneurship #SmallBusiness

The unfortunate reality is, if that company failed, the employees could get another job . The owner would be in debt $2 million.

People are too focused on attacking the rich and not how our taxes are spent. If taxes were spent properly people in lower and middle classes would see alot more benefit from it

the owner of a business is the one that takes all the risk. employees take zero risk. higher risk, higher reward. thats basically a universal law when it comes to wealth

Ive been slowly forming a business for thr last two years and have spent almost all my savings doing so. When it succeeds, you had better fucking believe I will pay myself whatever I feel I deserve. 😏

Starting your own company and creating jobs for others actually DOES give them the right to pay themselves a bonus….if you don’t like it start your own business.

Hating on rich people is such a crazy concept. Like we would all love to be that, why be jealous of people that do have it.

I hate this argument about job creators taking all the risk to be a job creator. The risk of being a job creator is that if you fail then you have to get a job. That's it. That's the whole risk. Now tell me why the CFO of Domino's Pizza makes $20M per year yet doesn't make or deliver a single pizza. I'll wait

creating jobs lol I can make a place dirty so u have to clean it up. isn't productive.. the person working the job should definitely be paid more than the person who created the job.

Yeah, so those things don't correlate. If you're making $200 million in profits for the year, you can chop that in half, still walk away a millionaire, and then also pay your employees. What these people don't want to do is risk any of their money at all because unfortunately their lifestyle dictates that they have all of this money. Yes, you worked hard and spent hours doing something that I'm unwilling to do. That's so fantastic. I've worked hard on things and stayed up late on things that other people are unwilling to do. I'm not going to sit here and shame anybody or condemn anybody for not doing that. Makes no fucking sense at all, does it?

For small companies, yes. For Walmart, no. It’s nothing for Walmart to build a new building, and why should they get an “ incentive “ to build? They want to make money don’t they? And you can only make money by starting a business and hiring more work workers to expand your business lol.
