Go to the derm or your regular doctor and get tretenoin, azaelic acid gel or cream. And always wear sunscreen. And I’m not trolling I can show you my before and after if you’d like.

I’m ngl the best thing that’s worked for me was Tret (night), azelaic acid (morning), and tinted sunscreen. I initially went to a dermatologist and she gave me a strong Tret to start. But after it was over and I wasn’t using it my face reverted so I talked to her again. She ended up getting me the cream and then i eventually started using azelaic acid in my routine and I think it’s what’s working best for me now. These can be strong though so that’s why it’s good to talk to a derm so you don’t damage your skin.

Tazarotene at night and azelaic acid in the morning. It works 👌🏽 I gave up on tretinoin 🤦🏽

I personally use this soap! Only night. I wash my face in the morning with only water. For moisturizer i use vanicream and tropical sunscreen daily! If i have bump flare ups, i just apply hydrocortisone cream overnight. 🌞 ( I’ll put some before and after of my skin in replies)

Esthetician here, Kojic acid is fantastic for dark spots! Just take it easy the first couple weeks, only doing it 1-2x, until your face gets acclimated then gradually move up. Vitamin C & peels are good too, and non comedogenic moisturizers!

Skin cell turn over, sunscreen, to prevent reversion arbutin is slow but sure, hydroquinone is quick but regulated as a risk. 1% retinol gel is about a 7 day solution. Dark spots need moisture. Dry conditions seem to make them darker. The key is to moisturize without clogging.

My face used to be covered in acne scars and hyperpigmentation, even now I still get bad scars. Drinking water helps them go away faster, apply witch hazel twice a day, panoxyl soap in morning, tumeric soap at night, and always use pimple patches to speed healing. I promise, you’ll be good
