I think even if this is just a spray paint can legally you couldn't use a spray paint can or anything as a self defense item. bug sprays even say it. I looked it up. you can get in legal trouble if the cop wants to push it but you can also be sued by the bad guy lol. you have to use something intended for self defense. I've read online you can just tell the cops you had wasp spray out because you thought you saw a wasp but a bad guy just happened to be there to and you only had a half second to react to the bad guy
