Inner temple are now barristers chambers, in Gandhi’s time they were full of lawyers solicitors who trained under a qualified lawyer with a law degree background. Law schools only existed in the future when the apprenticeship system ended. I worked there in the 80’s .

I used to live on that street was absolutely awful to sleep like i couldnt even rest in my room i dont know how he did 😭 i slept in the living room for a whole year! Would not reccomend anyone to live there also has 3 trains go by at the same time cant even imagine how loud the steam train must of been!

There’s no consensus on whether it’s Baron’s Court or something else. It could even be Baronscourt after Sir William Palliser’s country estate in Ireland. But a plausible explanation is that he (Palliser) modelled it on next door Earl’s Court and therefore it probably should have.
