Earlier this week, it was reported by The Telegraph that the Duke of Sussex wants to mark the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death, on Aug 31 next year, by honouring her legacy “in the most meaningful way”. Harry was said to have approached several friends and relatives of his late mother, including her brother, Earl Spencer, to ask whether they would take part in a documentary. But a royal expert has claimed that Harry’s latest move could infuriate his older brother, who is not on speaking terms with him. The royal editor Russell Myers told the Pod Save The King show on YouTube: “It is the 30th anniversary of her tragic death next year, everybody has been trying to have their say and they will be, of course, next year. “Archewell Productions are apparently going to produce it, as they've got this sort of first-look deal with Netflix.” He added: “I mean, the rest of the things they've been producing haven't done too well. “We had the Invictus documentary, we had the Polo documentary that absolutely failed “And I just think this is beyond the pale for Harry to be saying ‘Well I'm going to do this now’.” But the royal editor warned: “So, realistically, does Harry have a right to do this? I can tell you now that William will be absolutely furious about it.” It comes as the Duke of Sussex gave an impassioned speech on the dangers of AI during a trip to New York City, just week after he moved back to the UK. Harry warned AI is learning “how to enter our relationships” as he quipped, it had sabotaged his speech when he faced a technical glitch.#princeharry
