Favorite: I know what I like and what I don’t like. As a result of that, I am finding making SOME choices a lot easier.
Least Favorite: I am finding it extremely difficult to understand and accept my role as a parent with teenage and young adult children. Letting go. Guiding them by allowing them to figure it out and make mistakes. Staying calm in the chaos that is this stage of parenthood and what that can do to a marriage.
Midlife can be bittersweet and I feel like my head is on a swivel and I’m constantly dealing with a new situation, feelings, and life is going at 100 MPH

Love: as of my 40th birthday, I stopped giving a CRAP what people think of me. I've spent my WHOLE LIFE trying to fit in, be accepted, to be loved. Now I no longer hide, saying what I mean, and meaning what I say. I speak my truth and do not EVER apologize for things I am not sorry for.
Loathe: forgetfulness, the fact that I can't see or hear the way I used to, getting up to pee in the middle of the night, and being constantly exhausted! I, too, am a mother to two teenage children and also struggle with raising them to be strong, independent members of society, but also knowing when to let them figure things out on their own and let go.

1st Favourite: I have almost no filter left & don’t care what other people think of me. I’m quite comfortable in my own skin. 2nd Favourite: no more periods.🙌 Travel is a breeze when you don’t have to do period math. Least Favourite: menopausal mood swings. I’ll be 60 yrs old soon & though I was done with this hormonal roller coaster.

My favorite is that I am old enough to be unapologetically me and fortunate enough to have very few gray hairs and no need to get a baby sitter.

Favorite-my gaf is absolutely gone. No more people pleasing anymore this is what you get. Hate- perimenopause, emotional rollercoaster, brain fog, hot flashes and insomnia- why am I up cleaning at 3:45am and crying?

I love having more lived experience and am myself unabashedly. What I don’t like is the uncertainty of the future knowing that I’m midlife and have less time on earth than in my 20s. I hate how I have less energy and my youth is draining from me. I hate the thought of my kids leaving our home (most days)

Had a partial hysterectomy in my late 30’s, so I’ve thoroughly enjoyed NOT having a period! Menopause has since taken over and given me more things to drive me crazy!
