@thesameerproject: We have been supporting 20-year-old Saeed for well over a year. His smile still warms our hearts!! Saeed lives with cerebral palsy and spinal curvature, and his mother cares for him day and night - making sure he is comfortable, protected, and always knows how deeply he is loved. May God bless her efforts and protect Saeed. His care requires constant support: formula and nutritional assistance, diapers, medications, supplements, creams, food, and other daily necessities. It takes an entire network of care to protect his health and keep that beautiful smile on his face - but due to Gaza’s collapsed healthcare system, Saeed’s support only comes from us. On September 6, The Sameer Project provided Saeed with medications for three months, formula, food support, diapers, and other essential supplies. Each time we visit with goods from our storage and medication from our warehouse as well as fresh food, the cost is around $200. The Sameer Project can no longer take on new individual cases like Saeed’s. And if funding does not improve, even the families we have supported consistently may become harder to sustain.
