It’s dangerous to travel so much faster than surrounding traffic it’s difficult for slowed cars to anticipate your presence near them since you’re occupying space where another vehicle should not appear and difficult for you to anticipate their movements as well but if there’s an incident you’re more like to get injured and then it’s the cars fault. It’s the same as cars that speed and whip in and out of lanes during moderate traffic. Why is it so hard to move with traffic like the rest of us?

I always move over for ya’ll. But I will say it’s incredibly frustrating when I’m trying to merge into a different lane, with my blinker on and a motorcycle rolls up on me while I’m trying to lane change in that direction. Sometimes you guys just be moving too fast and don’t get us time to react. THAT is annoying

My concern is you don’t always see them approaching and when a person changes lanes it puts the rider and the vehicle riders in danger.

Revving engines for no reason, close calls, one A hole broke my mirror and sped off, going 50 while its bumper to bumper, and the risk of me hitting u while changing lanes cuz you go too damn fast

My issue is the speed at which they fly through the lanes. I glance for one second before getting over and then they zip out from behind another car and lane split. They’re too unpredictable, especially on LA freeways.

Because most riders are not that smooth. They try to split lanes on a bike the same size as my car and they are wobbly AF!

To all drivers who say things like you just pop up out of nowhere, you should always be aware of your surroundings. The only things that gets me angry about lane splitting is that my car can’t do that and Im stuck in traffic. To my fellows riders I’ll always protect you I’ll always give you space for you to pass just please be safe unfortunately we have many many… morons behind the wheel.

Hear me out, I was all for lane splitters until one hit me so hard he flew into the suv in front of me and then claimed I hit him to his insurance and we ended up in a lawsuit. The only reason I won is because an off duty nurse witnesses the whole thing. I also could not drive for months because it was so terrifying.

for me it's not lane splitting, it's the expectation that some bikers have for us to move over for them and get mad if we dont. or when they lane split and then get right in front of you at a red light.

Well for one, this dude just yesterday was behind the car behind me. I was trying to switch lanes and even had my blinker on, I looked at my mirrors and over my shoulder to check it was clear & then as I’m changing lanes he decides to do this and I almost hit him. Then he gets mad at ME and flips me off then aggressively follows me for a good ten minutes. People on bikes swear everyone must look after them but don’t pay attention to their surroundings
