It’s a very common surgery. I’m 6 days post op robotic laparoscopic. No pain meds needed just Tylenol. Google questions to ask your surgeon.

Mine was the best thing i ever did. Spent years with 7-10 day cycles that were super heavy and huge clots. Going thru supers in 45 minutes, sleeping in depends and on towels. 😳 After a few weeks I felt like a new person. Been 6 years now. I kept my ovaries. 🥰

Good luck. Itll be ok. You’ll feel better and get your life back. I had a complete hysterectomy over twenty yrs ago and it was the best decision I’ve made. No pain and no regrets. Only difference is mine came with losing my ovaries so I had horrible medical menopause but it’s even better now so nope.. no regrets! 🥰

LISTEN!!!! I had the same feelings. But i have a daughter at home who needed me, im the only parent left. Most importantly i had God and a prayer circle. I got there and suddenly wasn’t scared anymore. I woke up scared bc i thought they were still working on me. (It was time go home) I am 6 days post op. I will pray for you. And speedy recovery.You will be back home just fine.

try not to let everything you see on TT or elsewhere freak you out too much. I was terrified! I had never had surgery before and was convinced everything Inwas seeing was common and going to happen to me. my surgery had complications and still, not 1 single thing I was freaked out about, even happened. you got this!!

I had a hip to hip cut, 8 hour surgery due to endometriosis. Kept my ovaries so officially a partial hysterectomy.

Mine is October 19th and I'm terrified. Worried about my surgeon finding other issues while she's in there and my recovery. I'm trying to think of questions to ask at pre op and write them down but my mind is blank.

People can die from any surgery. Weigh the pros to the very small chance you’ll have major complications or death.
