I grew up going to Turnbul Canyon. I drive through everyday. My father took us up there in the 80’s, ironically after church, and told us the stories of when he was a teenager, and all his buddies and girls would go up there. There is a place where you can put your car in neutral, it it will clime a hill. They call it “Gravity Hill”, there was also a place that you could park next to, it had Lion heads at the front gate. This house was supposedly haunted, and the teenagers would hike up around it to see into the property. Anyway, our dad told us these stories on our way up to the canyon. However, when we arrived at the Lion Heads Gate, we parked in front, and sat there listening to the rest of the story. A few minutes later, a cop pulled up next to us, and said we couldn’t park there. My dad explained that he was telling us all the stories. The cop said he’s aware of them. However, this house is now owned by a group of Devils Worshippers. These people will throw sacrificed pieces of animals at you if you try to enter their property. My dad was like, okie dokie, and we left. Of course, years later when I was a teenager, I continued the trips up there with my friends, telling the new stories, then again when my daughters got older. The legion continues.
