@lorrainehwright: Eight years. Fake receipts. An unfinished house. Madam Janet trusted a contractor with her land and money, only to later discover that what she had been told about her project wasn’t the truth. The lesson? Trust is not a project management system. If you’re building in Ghana from abroad, don’t leave everything in one person’s hands. Have independent people checking the work, verifying payments and receipts, and reporting back to you. Your contractor should build. Someone else should be checking. Because when it comes to your property, hope is not a monitoring strategy. Want to buy Property in Ghana? I totally endorse this message. I just shared a video on 6 mistakes diasporans often make when building in Ghana and this is one of them.

I have some clients and when I tell them to send a trusted person to come and have a look at the project they tell me they don't want anybody to know about the project. I always insist that let someone come and verify the information I am giving out.
By the way I am a licensed engineer so you can throw your projects to me for proper work and peace of mind.
