i don't really get people who think Luke and Anakin are similar. Anakin's main motive for killing tusken raiders was to avenge his mother, that is why he regretted it on the other side, Luke destroyed massive (yh massive) weapon designed to kill and destroy planets with population. empire commited acts of genocides, slavery, violence and that is technically why Luke had no sympathy for them at the moment. i can't imagine a guy or girl from London who'd care about innocent german people in ww2. and yh, luke didn't exactly feel empathy for them, yet if you read at least wookipedia or smth, you'd surely know he didn't forget these people and remembered them as victims
