that TikTok is now outdated. It’s talking about asteroid 2024 YR4. There really was a period when astronomers calculated about a 4% chance that it could hit the Moon on December 22, 2032. But in February 2026, the James Webb Space Telescope obtained new measurements. NASA and ESA announced in March 2026 that the lunar-impact possibility has been eliminated. The asteroid is now predicted to miss the Moon by about 13,200 miles (21,200 km).
