Easy :
Don’t ask me how I know but being out after curfew while attending an HBCU in the mid 1980’s was exhilarating! It also taught us how to figure things out and to work through obstacles. Keep doing you HBCU’s our young people need it.

I lived in a women’s dorm in 2000-2001 during my freshman year at FAMU. We had an informal curfew, dorm room checks every Wednesday, and a no-male-visitation policy. One of my classmates went on a date and wasn’t back at the dorm by midnight, and our whole floor stayed up all night until she came home. It IS that deep.

As black girl raised in South Georgia, I UNDERSTAND and I support HBCU's having curfews....these new kids don't roll deep and solid as we did. No one gets left behind and you don't leave with people you didn't come with!💯✔️💯

the younger generation doesn't like accountability because they were never held accountable. they want to move throughout the world with no responsibility 😔 they just want to vibe
