Exactly!! Just because somebody doesn’t want you to come hold their new baby, doesn’t mean you can’t show up — and if they want no visitors? buy dinner, drop off a coffee, offer a phone call…. offer to come help clean, come give some company… ask them what they need! sometimes alls a person needs is a facetime call for social interaction.. It hurts more when everyone around you has been through it, and had such big / valid feelings of feeling alone, but then when i go through it, i also find myself alone… it hits hard bc like, you get it and still didn’t show up.
