so what i gather is it's not the going fishing as much as the trespassing on private property. however fishing private water doesn't require you to have a license because it's not government property.

Super simple, get permission to fish someone else’s pond. Don’t know anyone that will tell you no if you ask. Knock on the door and ask.

the purchase of the license in your state is directly going toward the active conservation of your state.. if no one bought a license your fisheries would suffer dramatically!!! buying a license is more than just a government control thing.

That blows my mind. I would never call the cops for kids fishing our pond, esp young kids that are seen doing no harm. The way people handle things blows my mind.

Mr Green jeans is serious in the south. Have the boys go ask the owners if they can still fish. Lots of times they will let them. Most people are more worried about the trespassing aspect and someone getting hurt.

They require you to get a fishing license in order for Mav to fish even if you never fish? (Weird) Mav won't need a fishing license until 16, but definitely needs owners permission to fish in private owners ponds.

That’s unfortunate, I know in many states if you’re 16 years or younger, you’re not required to have a fishing license.

It actually is they really don’t fuck around with fish engines they arrest. I know one person My Dad’s friend got arrest because he didn’t have a fishing license.

If there minors they don’t need fishing license I understand what they do and why they do it but it gets to a point that people would rather get kids in trouble instead of js letting them live then they complain that kids aren’t the same anymore

Got caught trespassing 2 times and one time we got caught. it was our friends that didn’t know it was us and the other was my neighbor who has a wildlife reserve and the police showed up and we said that we didn’t know what it is and got away with it.( we knew it was a wildlife reserve but it was too good not to ride)
