Before beginning the color correction, I prepped her hair with K18 Molecular Repair Hair Mist to help strengthen and protect the hair throughout the chemical process. Then I worked in very fine sections, carefully lightening only the previously colored areas, while protecting and leaving her natural silver completely untouched. My goal was to remove as much of the old warmth as safely possible and create a clean, pale canvas that would blend beautifully with her natural gray. Once the lightening process was complete, I customized the toner to neutralize the remaining yellow and warmth and create a soft, dimensional silver and gray finish. The final result is a seamless transition from her natural silver roots through the lengths and ends, with beautiful dimension, movement, and shine.
