My question is, they didn’t know she had an Apple Watch until downloading her phone, SO they didn’t look through the evidence to see if it was found AT the scene or on her person? SO if this was going to be a big part of their case/timeline presented in court, shouldn’t they want it in custody to prove it was at least at the scene?

What about the gaps in the watch health data throughout the day? One gap of 1.5 hrs and then one gap of 2.5hrs. The watch data is strange itself. Yet alone the 2 iphones and only the "clone" phone being used for digital forensics.. which is also full of suspicious logs as if the 2 phones were communicating/signalling to each other.

the biggest thing for me too, is these watches contain things like phone calls, text messages, location, etc. heart rate yes, but these watches are typically connected to your phone. so why wouldn't that be a huge piece of evidence?? regardless of the heartbeat records on it, they contain a LOT of information that should have been seized during the "investigation"

They may have looked in that drawer and saw nothing remarkable. Perhaps that is because PC put it in that drawer along with the ziplock bag of old medications. Both items were turned in later to the police.
