@darlenewithladder: And mine has recently started sending overdue notices 😂 I’m training for a half marathon while still strength training, and the hardest lesson hasn’t been how to fit everything into my week. It’s accepting that my body adds everything together, even when my brain puts it into separate little boxes. A 14km run is one box. Leg day is another. A bad sleep, a busy week and general life stress all feel unrelated… but my legs do not care about my filing system. I used to see a lighter week and immediately look for somewhere else to do more. Fewer sets? I could run further. Easier workout? Maybe I should add something at the end. Rest day? Suspicious. Now, when a deload appears in my Ladder plan, I’m trying to actually follow it instead of treating it like a challenge to see how much extra movement I can sneak in. Because doing less before my body forces me to stop isn’t laziness. It’s probably one of the smartest and most difficult parts of training consistently. Still learning. #ladderapp ##HalfMarathonTraining#StrengthTraining #RunningAndLifting
