If the candidate truly blows me away and is the best suited for the job, then then having an iced coffee shouldn’t affect that decision - however it’s NOT a good start, and why risk it? Everyone on the panel is human at the end of the day and will have their own bias. I guess it’s the same reason you wouldn’t disclose your age or parental status in an interview. Give them as little as possible to judge you on other than your experience and interpersonal skills 👌
