Floodwater has also accumulated on parts of Don Mueang Airport, including a southern taxiway and aircraft parking areas. Flights are continuing to operate, but passengers have been advised to allow extra travel time and check their flight status. Bangkok has been declared a disaster zone after nearly 300 millimetres of rain fell in about forty-eight hours.
