People are believing what these influencers are saying and, while I think it’s a good asset, you still have to face the opportunity cost of being in something that probably won’t be the top performer. Why? Because smaller, less liquid assets with more supply friction tend to outperform. You guessed it… they also have smaller market caps. I know people want to sound edgy by saying, “He doesn’t know, he still uses market cap,” as if they have some insider knowledge nobody else has.
