LEARN THE MAP FIRST always watch the minimap. know where your teammates are. know where the enemies are likely to be. if 2–3 enemies are missing, don’t blindly push. 2. ROTATION > KILLS you don’t need to chase every kill. clear your lane → rotate → help your team → take objective. a good rotation can win a fight before it even starts. 3. PLAY FOR OBJECTIVES turtle > random kill lord > unnecessary teamfight turret > chasing one enemy always ask yourself: “what do we gain after this?” 4. KNOW WHEN TO FIGHT don’t force a fight when your team is behind. check gold, levels, ultimates and positioning. if the enemy has the advantage, reset and farm. not every fight needs to be taken. 5. CONTROL THE TEMPO if you’re ahead, pressure the map. take turrets, steal resources and control objectives. if you’re behind, don’t panic. farm safely and wait for the enemy to make a mistake. 6. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR TEAM ping missing enemies. ping objectives. ping when to retreat. good macro isn’t only knowing what to do— it’s making your team understand it too. 7. THINK AHEAD don’t only think about the current play. think about the next one. “if we take this turret, where do we go next?” that’s macro. 8. DON’T BE SELFISH sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself for the objective. sometimes you have to give up a kill to save your teammate. winning the game matters more than your KDA. 9. MASTER YOUR ROLE know your hero’s job. know your power spikes. know when you’re strong and when you’re weak. mechanics can win fights, but macro wins games. 10. IT’S JUST A GAME don’t tilt. don’t blame your teammates. learn from every mistake. good macro comes from experience and consistency.
