When the son was told nothing but stories from the father and only at the funeral did he realize his dad wasnt BS him and had that wonderful life. Movie makes me cry 😭

This movie hits home for me. Watched it with my father many times. My father was big on telling stories and lighting up the room. My father passed when I was 15. My father is forever my Big Fish.

I absolutely adore this movie, I had a dvd of it an I remember watching it over and over and to this day when an older relative or elderly person tells me a story no matter how unbelievable it may be I always try to keep a sense of wonder and believe them anyway and it makes them happy when people take the time to listen
