I’m 30 soon 31 and i haven’t found someone to live my life with and I feel the pressure to find someone! But it’s hard when life and people you try to talk to always brings your confidence down and I feel like I’m trying so hard! I’m moving in to a house I just bought and in my head this is where I’m going to build a life in and hopefully build a family in. But now I don’t know if this is ever going to happen and this is tearing me apart and I just feel so stupid and like I’m not enough! I just want to feel like I am enough and feel this love that I see around me!

42 single, no kids and I feel this. I spent my entire 20's as an alcoholic/drunk and that didn't help.

Most people in marriage are extremely unhappy, especially men because they have sacrificed their own well being for people who are usually very ungrateful for those things they have sacrificed and usually have little to no friends outside of their family obligations which often makes them very depressed. So maybe you being single isn’t the flaw that society wants you to believe, so is it an intrusive thought or societal expectation that you didn’t prioritize the way they wanted you to.
