guys who wondering the difference:Depression is the feeling of being depressed. It has a reason, but it isn't as long as depression and usually it doesn't make you represent a risk to yourself, otherwise clinical depression is longer(at least to weeks), doesn't necessarily have a reason, and you might represent risk to yourself, and it's a illness, not just a feeling and it prejudice your life and daily tasks

Apparently I was disagnosed with mdd when I was like nine, but they didn’t tell me and only put it on my file. So I didn’t find out until my brother asked me saying he saw it in their file, then I asked my mom and she asked how I found out 💀
