🚨 Immigration Update 🚨 Seeing “Case Required USCIS To Send A Notice” on your USCIS account? Take a breath. This status update, by itself, does not mean your case was denied or that USCIS found a problem with your case. USCIS changed the case status and in some cases did t change the status at all however, they are sending the FBI notice to everyone and it’s triggering the cas status change. The notice shown here is about biometrics and FBI fingerprint-based criminal-history checks. USCIS explains that it is providing privacy information about how those checks work and how applicant information may be used. The letter says no action is needed right now. If USCIS needs anything else, it says it will send a separate notice. A background check can still be part of processing, so keep checking your account and mail and follow any instructions in a separate notice. But this status change alone is not a reason to panic.
