No. That’s actually not what Opalite was about at all. Opalite in the most simplest terms was about how she went through a dark time but now she feels better and found someone she enjoys being with. The first part of Cleveland is word for word what people have said about her online in comparison to Travis’ ex. the “you only need to find one person…that doesn’t find you completely insufferable” is a joke about how people call her insufferable. It’s literally satire. And I’m not saying you have to like it I completely understand that it’s not everyone’s vibe. But it seems that the disconnect is coming from people not understanding that it’s not a serious love song.

See. I'm always very back and forth on Taylor Swift. She'll do something nice...and then something where I'm like ughhhhh why? So I've just kind of been ignoring her and listening to the songs I like on Spotify. Covers where applicable. (Unfortunately my fav TSwift songs are niche and no one covers them)
