Gees people can be narrow minded. I doubt very many people would say marriage isn't but I also don't think what you are implying ought be a given. 1. Is it merely a sexual relationship? 2. Are people allowed to have a say when and if they have sex or, because it's a sexual relationship, is that off the table? 3. Does it being a sexual relations trump whatever else is going on with your partner and if that's all you can focus on, and not helping your partner, you probably shouldn't be marriaged because you're not interested in the effort beyond the sex. Just pay for it.
