Fun fact: when I have to trim my cats nails (all ten of them) and some of them give me guff, I will put their scruff in my mouth and hold them so they stay still. Works every time!

As someone who rehabs animals, more often cats. ATTEMPTING to adult scruff as LAST resort during a full on blood fight? The adult cat will 100% fork you up if you scruff them if they don’t want you too. I have scars. And I mean LAST resort scruffing during a feral fight. I’d never scruff any of my house cats. They don’t need it. Certainly can tug on them if I support them like this orange. But no absolutely not. A full adult cat will NOT allow to be scruffed with full weight. Especially if they aren’t ohkay with it.
